Eritrea Visas


Please send us the following:
STEP 1 - PASSPORT
- Please enclose your valid passport.
- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you intend to exit from Eritrea.
- Your passport should have two completely blank pages for your visa. (Please note: pages 22-24 are Amendment pages & are not considerable for Visas. The Eritrea Embassy will not place a Visa on these pages.)

STEP 2 – VISA APPLICATION
Please print and fill out one Eritrea Visa Application and sign prior to sending.
EMBASSY FEE:
The processing time is 4 business days (regular processing). No rush processing is available at the moment.
$25 per visa - TOURIST or BUSINESS visas
(Visas are usually valid for 3 months, with multiple entries, from the date of issue, with a maximum stay of 30 days.)
**The Consulate will make the final determination on the validity of the visa and the length of stay allowed.
TL TRAVEL FEE:
These fees are not included in the Embassy Fee, and the fees are per applicant.
For TOURIST or BUSINESS Visas:
$45: regular processing
**The processing time counts from the day the application is submitted to the Consulate. Saturdays, Sundays and consulate scheduled holidays do not count as processing days.
STEP 3 - PHOTOS
Please enclose one 2 x 2 passport photo with your application.

STEP 4 - SUPPORT
Support is documentation(s) confirming your trip and the reasons for your visit. Support is slightly different if you are traveling for Business or as a Tourist. You will need to provide copies of the following:
FOR TOURIST VISAS –
- A copy of your confirmed Flight Itinerary.
FOR BUSINESS VISAS –
- All of the above, PLUS
- A letter from your company on company letterhead, signed by a senior manager, stating the purpose of your trip, to what organization, the length of stay, your lodging accomodations, and a financial guarantee from your company.
FOR NON-U.S. PASSPORT HOLDERS (proof of your US status) -
- A copy of your valid Green Card, front and back, OR
- A copy of your valid U.S. visa.
