Angola Visas

The Angolan Consulate processes their visas based on jurisdiction. You can only apply for the visa here in Houston, Texas if you reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, or Texas.

Please send the following:

STEP 1 - PASSPORT

• Please enclose your valid passport.
  
• Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you intend to exit from Angola.
  
• Your passport should have two completely blank pages for your visa. (Please note: pages 22-24 are Amendment pages & are not considerable for Visas. The Angolan Consulate will not place a Visa on these pages.)

STEP 2 – TWO VISA APPLICATIONS

Please fill out, print and sign two Angolan Visa Applications. Remember to fill out all of the fields and sign prior to sending.

ANGOLA CONSULATE FEE:

The processing time is 6 business days.
$141 per visa - TOURIST or BUSINESS, Single or Double Entry Visa
$282 per visa - 24 HR Processing

**The Consulate will make the final determination on the validity of the visa and the length of stay allowed. Your first entry must be made within 60 days from the date of issue, for a stay up to 30 days, or the Visa will become invalid.

These fees are not included in the Consulate Fee, and the fees are per applicant.

For TOURIST or BUSINESS Visas:
$35: regular processing
$90: Rush Processing

**The processing time counts from the day the application is submitted to the Consulate. Saturdays, Sundays and consulate scheduled holidays do not count as processing days.

STEP 3 - PHOTOS

Please enclose two 2 x 2 passport photos with your application.

STEP 4 - SUPPORT

Support is documentation(s) confirming your trip and the reasons for your visit. Support is slightly different if you are traveling for Business or as a Tourist. You will need to provide copies of the following:

FOR TOURIST VISAS –

• A copy of your Flight Itinerary.
  
• Letter from the your host in Angola.
• Proof of sufficient funds, ie: copy of your bank statement (of $100 USD per day)

FOR BUSINESS VISAS –

• A copy of your Flight Itinerary.
  
• Proof of sufficient funds, ie: copy of your bank statement (of $100 USD per day).
  
• Letter (on company's letterhead) addressed to the Consulate General of Angola, stating the employee's name and the nature of business that he/she will conduct in Angola. 
  
• An invitation letter from the host organization.

FOR NON-U.S. PASSPORT HOLDERS (proof of your US status) -

• A copy of your Green Card, front and back, OR
  
• A copy of your valid U.S. visa.
